Safari by-foot, led by an experienced Big-5 Walking guide and tracker; whilst our ground team moves camp from one wild location to the next.

Having open borders with Kruger means there is a dynamic movement of animals; with many animals attracted to the waters of the Olifants River, especially during the drier winter months. Giraffe, Wildebeest and Waterbuck are abundant, and this in turn attracts predators in good numbers. Big herds of Buffalo are also common.

Day’s run to the rhythm of the bush, waking with the birds (…and coffee and rusks) and an early start to enjoy the cool of the mornings. Brunch will be enjoyed out in the bush, and we generally arrive at camp by early afternoon. After some refreshments and snacks, and maybe even a little snooze, a game drive can be enjoyed before dinner and a nightcap around the campfire.

  1. Hike DaysTrails are run from start of April - end of November.

The campsites are entirely mobile, leaving no trace behind.

There is a central ‘mess tent’ to house the kitchen, food prep, and washing up. This is where our private chef will work to prepare your flame-grilled meals. A dining table is set every evening, and in the mornings, to offer coffee and rusks before departure.

The camp provides an intimate setup, where the ‘bush tv’ (aka…fire) is central to the space and socialisation of the group.
